Hey, I’m Julius, I’m from northern Germany and I’m doing my bachelor’s degree in product design. I find it super exciting to develop functional products that help people in their everyday lives. Design not only accompanies me in my studies, but is omnipresent in my life.

involve – enjoy together
Equal participation despite differences – INVOLVE is a tableware set which refers to the diversity of people.
Nothing is better than eating together in the best company of our loved ones. Sitting together at the table, enjoying the food and exchanging thoughts. Being part of a community – independently and mostly without restrictions. Everyone at the table belongs and participates equally, even if the conditions are not always the same. The shared meal forms our center of life and especially there deficits, like cognitive, psychological as well as physical restrictions, must not play a significant role. It should be a natural and simple process, which gives joy to ourselves and our environment.
With our tableware involve we want to counteract these disadvantages with design to enable a largely unrestricted participation at the dining table.
I would like to thank my friends and family. I would also like to thank Prof. Dipl.-Des. Steffen Schulz, who guided me through most of my studies, and everyone who helped with our project.
