I want to create UX/UI that spark joy. I also love to delve into complex topics and share this knowledge in an easy-to-understand way. That’s why I made it my mission to create a tool that makes it easy to get started with digital accessibility (an important, often forgotten topic) while having fun learning.

Shaping Access is a playful prototype of a web game for all participants in digital projects. Through various tasks, it enables testing of one’s own level of knowledge and an easy introduction to the various aspects of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

The Internet is for everyone. It is about equal digital participation for all people – regardless of individual limitations. Consideration of accessibility in the development of digital media is more important than ever and is increasingly demanded. However, those responsible and those involved often lack the time to familiarize themselves adequately with the topic, or it is difficult to find the right entry point. Shaping Access” is designed to help with this problem. The project is being developed in cooperation with u+i interact and will be implemented as an interactive prototype of a web game in Figma. Based on WCAG 2.1, various tasks are played to promote knowledge building. The goal of the application is to help users to find their first steps into digital accessibility or to test their existing knowledge. The aim is to develop a general basic understanding in a playful way that everyone can build on.

Thank you to everyone who accompanied me during my bachelors and allowed me to grow beyond myself.
