Christine Kunert
Bachelor of Arts Media Design
Although my project is all about tea, I actually prefer coffee. I like to work on the computer or behind the camera, which I was able to learn and love both in media design. I like to be busy and when I’m not in front of the keyboard I’m probably reading a magazine, looking for rare plants or redecorating the house.

Refine instead of Rebrand
Nineeteen Coffee becomes Nineteen Coffee & Tea
Add Tea to Coffee. In the project I accompanied the Brand Nineteen Coffee on its journey from a mono range to an extended product catalogue. Linked to this conversion, a refinement and restructuring of the brand architecture took place.
In the process of brand development, we designers have a responsibility that we should be aware of. In branding, we take on the task of translators. It is important to understand how a brand philosophy is positioned and to make this position noticable at all points of contact. As part of my work, I was able to support the young brand Nineteen Coffee in their product development. From the previous mono range consisting of coffee & espresso to a broader spectrum of products, starting with the offering of tea products. In preparation for the brand expansion, I supported the development and refinement of the corporate design. An important part was determining and refining existing company values and the definition of mission & vision with the team in numerous talks, discussions and zoom meetings. After a refinement of the Nineteen brand, tea was established as a product. I was involved in product selection, packaging, shipping, website, marketing and more.
Thanks to Fabio, Julien & Felix for the wonderful cooperation!
