„It‘s luck that I grew up the way I did“ – definitely, design is a big issue in my family. I particularly enjoy holistic design, so during my studies I placed just as much emphasis on projects in the field of communication design as in illustration.

Watching the luck

I can talk about luck and about black cats from the left and about half-full and about empty glasses

I am lucky that I exist. That I was born where I was born and that I grew up where I grew up. Luck is not as simple as it pretends to be, and above all, luck is one thing: fixed since birth. At least 60% of it.

With a twinkle in my eye, I guide you through a series of drawings on the subject of luck and bad luck. About the luck of being me, black cats from the left, the unlucky human existence, half-full, full and empty glasses and why self-love can be gibberish. Readers from young to old can reinterpret luck and bad luck for themselves. And besides: when I type „guides on luck“ into the search engine, I get 22,200,000 results. This is none of them.

Thanks to all who made sure my glass is half full.
