Master Media Design

Hi, I’m Alina! My joy in illustration led me to photography and finally to film and animation. This combination has often proven to be a nice mix to develop creative solutions. And that is exactly what excites me about design: the possibility of always creating new approaches and ways for the most diverse projects and, above all, bringing ideas to life.

Our animated short film is about the human fascination for horror and where it comes from. The viewers experience their own little thrill and recognize its origin

Thrills, chills, adrenaline. What is it that fascinates us so much about horror and how does it manage to horrify and thrill people in equal measure? „abyssus“ deals precisely with this topic and lets viewers experience it for themselves in the form of an explanatory animated film. In a mixture of explanatory and feature film, he takes us into a bizarre world that both explains “horror” and depicts it with his own hands. In this way, the viewers can experience a little bit of horror themselves and at the same time understand what this feeling evokes in us and why we look at some moments when we actually don’t want to.
