Hannah Bischop
Bachelor of Arts Illustration
Hi, I am Hannah, twentyfour. I love communication design and illustration. During my studies I was able to experiment freely between both. In analog quick drawing is where I find myself the most. I love sketching, on the subway, in a café, wherever I am. In design i have found what I really want to do and I am so excited to continuously improve myself.

Sometimes; What it can mean to be a single parent.
Sometimes a team no longer works together. Then the old team separates and new ones are formed. And suddenly we are in the middle of completely new challenges, completely new thoughts, completely new situations. They can sometimes be very beautiful and sometimes very difficult. A larger we has become two smaller wes.
What do we mean by „family“? The typical father-mother-child constellation is no longer the only form of family. Nevertheless, a different arrangement is still barely accepted and considered as deficient. This book wants to offer an insight into the life of a family with a single mother and express that – despite all the hurdles and difficulties – any concept as the one-parent array, is to be considered utterly. Illustrated memories of my childhood and conversations with my mother combined in one book want to give an insight into the daily issues, obstacles and great moments that being a single parent can entail.
I would like to thank Felix Scheinberger and Elisabeth Schwarz for their support and know-how in every design issue. I would also like to thank my friends, of course my family and especially you, Jeroen, for making me feel strong again when the feeling of smallness overwhelms me. Mom and Jacob, thank you for all the long talks, every sit-down, and for being my home. I love you.
